The iRobot Roomba e5 is a vacuum used by many families to keep their floors clean and free from debris. It is a great tool if you have animals and constantly experience hair or dirt throughout your house. However, sometimes the wheels on the vacuum might need replacement due to typical wear and tear or damage done by a curious family pet.

Flip the iRobot upside down

locate the edge sweeping brush which has a screw in the center.

Loosen the screw using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Lift the side brush up from the vacuum and keep it aside.

Loosen the five captive screws on the bottom of the Roomba using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Remove the bottom panel of the Roomba.

Loosen the two captive screws closest to the wheel module using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Pull the wheel module out of the Roomba, leaving an empty pocket.

Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for the opposite wheel.

insert the new wheel module into the wheel pocket.
