This guide will show you how to replace the whole Cleaning Head in the Roomba 880, which houses the Debris Extractors. Let's do it!

  1. Flip the Roomba over, wheel-side up. Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, loosen the four 15 mm screws illustrated. Two are located on the battery door, while two are on the bottom panel. Remove the battery door, pulling straight up from the two indents above the screws.

  2. Using a flat head screwdriver, loosen the screw on the top of the side brush. Remove side brush.

    • The bottom panel cannot be removed without first removing the side brush, so make sure to do this first.

  3. Pull up on the bottom panel to remove.

  4. Reach underneath the dust bin, press the bin removal button, and pull out. The bin removal button is located on the top edge of the bin.
