Using a metal spudger, lodge the tip underneath the speaker and between the soft foam surrounding the screen.

Use the metal spudger to leverage out the speaker.

The speaker is attached to the shell with an adhesive. Do not be too aggressive in your removal, else the speaker will come apart.
