[* black] Use a fingernail or an opening tool to pry the plastic trim off of the button.
[* icon_caution] Be careful to apply even pressure around the ring when prying, as there are three retainer prongs that can be broken if the ring is twisted or tilted while being pulled out.
[* red] Use a small spanner to unscrew the button from the case.
[* icon_note] If you don't have access to the proper spanner, you can use a pair of tweezers, a very small screwdriver, or a paperclip to unscrew the button assembly. Just make sure to insert it into groves right at the bottom and push sideways.
[* icon_note] There is blue thread locker on these threads, so light heat on the button side of the case may help.
[* black] Completely unthread the button and remove it from the case.
+ | [* icon_note] There is a small red o-ring that may fall off the button threads when the button is removed. Make sure not to lose the o-ring. |
