[title] Remove Power Button
[* black] This is the key to not breaking the internal metal bracket (blue rectangle) as happens in every other teardown method on the internet.
[* black] Gently remove the button trim ring (red circle). Evenly pry this of with finger nails or a plastic pry tool. Pry evenly as there are three retainer prongs
[* black] Next you need to unthread the button (green circle) from the case. I'm sure Moto has a 6 pin spanner to do this. If you don't have that tool you can try pushing on one of the notches with a tiny flat blade screw driver or T3 driver. The threads are normal right hand.
[* black] There is blue thread locker on these threads, light heat on the button side of the case may help.
[* black] Completely unthread this and the button assembly will come free from the case.
