[title] Remove base
[* red] Remove the thirteen Philips screws securing the base to the palmrest.
[* orange] Remove the screw securing the optical drive.
[* yellow] Remove the two small Philips screws securing the base to the palmrest.
[* black] Insert a spudger into the separation between the palmrest and the base, in the front of the laptop.
[* icon_note] On this laptop, the base is what comes off of the palmrest, not the other way around, like on most laptops, so once you've got enough leverage, have the laptop flipped upside-down like in the picture, and pull up on the base.
[* icon_caution] Don't try to separate the trim around the keyboard!
