-[* black] For the ribbon cable on the right of the motherboard, use either a spudger or you finger nail to lift the secure tab open. You should lift the tab from the side facing the inside of the mother board.
-[* black] Once the secure tab is released, the ribbon cable should detach without much resistance. If the cable does not come out easily, than the secure tab may not be fully opened.
