-[* black] Use the flat end of a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the keyboard ribbon cable ZIF socket.
-[* icon_caution] Be sure you are prying up on the hinged retaining flap, ***not*** the socket itself.
-[* black] Use the flat end of a spudger to pull the keyboard ribbon cable out of its socket.
+[* black] Lift the flap covering the ZIF socket, then use the flat end of a spudger to flip up the plastic retaining bar that locks the keyboard ribbon cable into the ZIF socket. It will click open.
+[* icon_caution] Be sure you are prying up on the hinged retaining bar, ***not*** the socket itself.
+[* black] The ribbon cable should pop out on its own. If it doesn't, pull the top flap up gently to lift the keyboard ribbon cable out of the ZIF socket.
