[* black] Open the battery compartment and remove the 7 visible screws.
[* black] Pry the corners of the bezel at the base of the keyboard, pushing up until it loosens.
[* black] Carefully remove the ribbon connections of the keyboard, power button, and wifi button.
-[* black] Disconnect and re-connect the white monitor ribbon located on the left side to make sure it seats tight in the connection.
+[* black] Disconnect and re-connect the white monitor ribbon located on the left side to make sure it sits firmly in the connection.
[* black] Reassemble the laptop by following these steps in reverse.
[* black] The monitor should work when powered on again.
