+[* black] With all 18 of the 4mm PH screws and the grey frame removed, the only thing still connecting the battery to the device is the white plastic connector plugged into a tan piece on the motherboard. To disconnect it, use a blue spudger tool to push the white connector out of the tan piece, gently working it out until it is completely removed.
+[* black] Once disconnected, the battery will simply lift away from the device, and the device will be ready for a new battery.
