| - | [* black] Using the plastic opening tool, detach the silver plate from the laptop and set the laptop aside. First remove the keyboard. Gently nudge the two ears at either end of the connector out, away from the connector. The cable should then slip out. |

Gently nudge out the two grey ears on either side away from the connector, releasing the ribbon. Then you can begin to gently pry the silver cover & metal away from the lower black frame and mb. |
