| + | [* black] Flip the guitar up side down. Locate the neck screws at the top of the body near the neck. Use the Phillips 2 Screwdriver to unscrew the screws. Both a screw and a spacer will be removed. Please take note of the difference in screw sizes. |

| + | [* yellow] The screws farther from the neck (marked in yellow) are 1 3/4". |
| + | [* black] Once all of the screws are removed, pull the neck away from the guitar body. Set aside. |
