-[* black] Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the screws that are securing the lens unit. There are some screws pointing down into the camera, and some that are pointing toward the center of the lens unit.
-[* black] There are 5 screws holding down the lens unit. 4 of them are parallel to the lens unit: 1) 4.75 mm long, 2) 3.75 mm long, 3) 3.75 mm long going into the flash motherboard, 4) 3.75 mm long, under the flash motherboard. The 5th screw is 1.75 mm long and perpendicular to the lens unit.
-[* black] Slide the case of the lens unit out from the body of the camera.
-[* black] Unplug the lens unit from its case, and remove it by pushing it toward you through the case.
+[* black] Open up the camera by releasing the latches on the top and bottom of the camera with the black spudger. There are 2 latches on top and 2 on the bottom. Once the two halves of the camera are unhooked, you can easily pry open the camera with your hands.
