[* black] The digitizer is adhered by a double-sided adhesive strip that runs around the perimeter of the display. With a bit of [product|IF145-198-4|heating|new_window=true] and [product|IF145-123-2|prying|new_window=true], we manage to coax the digitizer off.
[* icon_caution] But in all our excitement, our hasty teardowner severed the digitizer data cable. Fixers be warned, this book opens longways.
