[* black] After disassembling the handset, you should see a circular component at the top section of the handset. That circular component is your speaker. | |
[* black] There should also be three small screws holding the circular component in place. | |
[* black] Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws. | |
[* black] After the screws are removed, you can now pull the speaker out and check it. | |
[* black] If it looks damaged, you might want to change it. If this is the case, soldering is necessary. | |
[* black] To do that, cut the two wires connecting the speaker to the circuit board. With the new speaker that you have purchased, and some soldering wire, resolder the new speaker. | |
