[* black] We disconnected several ribbon cables from the motherboard before proceeding.
[* red] Six Phillips screws hold the motherboard and its attached heat sink and fan in place.
-[* black] The display data cable connects to the bottom of the board, and must be disconnected before the motherboard is freed from the machine.
+[* black] The display data cable and power button ribbon connect to the bottom of the board, and must be disconnected before the motherboard is freed from the machine.
+[* black] To remove these connectors, first remove the magnetic grille cover from the top of the machine, just behind the hinge. You must then remove two small screws holding the central hinge cover in place.
+[* black] Once the grille cover and hinge cover have been removed, you can disconnect the two cables. The display cable is a large connector with a blue pull cord, and the power button connector is a small ribbon to the left of the display cable.
