[* red] Remove the four 4mm Phillips #1 screws holding the touchpad onto the laptop.
-[* orange] Disconnect both ends of the ZIF (zero insertion force) cable connecting the touchpad to the motherboard by lifting up on the black tab and pulling the cable up and out by the blue tab.
-[* icon_caution] Do not pull on the blue tab of the cable without lifting up the black tabs on the connectors. The cable should slide in and out effortlessly. If there is resistance when pulling the cable, double check the black tabs.
+[* orange] Use a spudger to lift up the two black tabs on the ZIF connectors and then pull the cable out by the blue tab.
