[* black] Starting at a bottom corner, use the spudger to separate the rear case from the front display.
[* black] Move your way around towards the top on both sides. The plastic opening tool is easier to use for this step.
-[* icon_caution] Detaching the top is somewhat tricky. Insert the spudger into the top corner, slide it to the middle, and apply downward force to unhook the clip. The clip is quite large so this may require a bit of force.
+[* icon_caution] Detaching the top is tricky. Make sure the only thing holding it together is the top center. Gently bend back both top corners slightly bowing the top of the back cover. While holding it in this bowed state you can then sides the whole back cover down and it detaches with ease. It helps to push in on the top back center while you bent back the sides/top corners. Note: The back cover can not slide until the sides are not just detached but held back out of the way. Trying to force the catch off any other way requires lots of force and may brake the catch.
