+ | [title] Removing PCB and Speaker |
---|---|
[* black] After the cradle is removed you can see the board that is secured with two screws, one of which you've already removed when disassembling the cradle. | |
[* black] Remove the screw in the red circle and pry with the spudger where the red arrow is, in the direction of the blue arrow. And push the LED inwards as needed until the board is lose. | |
[* black] ***Take care not to damage the red and gold cables that go beneath the PCB as they are the speaker cables and quite delicate.*** | |
[* black] Remove the PH2 screw that is holding the resonance speaker in place and lift the housing away from the speaker. Again, the speaker cables are delicate, so be careful as to not yank the housing or the speaker, it should fall out by its own weight. | |
[* black] ***Note that I did not remove the plastic separator between the speaker and the PCB as it is there to keep the PCB at the correct height, and is well secured with even more RTV*** | |
[* black] Final picture depicts a gutted Mighty Dwarf. |
