- [* icon_note] You might want to wipe down the dipstick with a rag or towel, reinsert it, then pull it out again to get a reading.
-[* black] The oil level should reach the second hole from the top. This is the maximum level for your car's oil. The first hole is the minimum oil level.
- [* icon_note] If the level is too high or low, you can always add or remove oil accordingly.
-[* black] Put the oil fill cap back on and tighten it by turning clockwise.
+[* black] Grab the yellow handle of the engine oil dipstick at the front of the engine and pull the dipstick out.
+[* black] Wipe down the dipstick with a rag or towel, reinsert it, then pull it out again to get a an oil level reading.
+[* black] The oil level should be somewhere between the two holes, which denote the minimum and maximum levels. Add or drain oil as necessary until you have an appropriate level.
