[* black] Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry the battery connector up from its socket on the logic board.
[* icon_caution] Take care to only pry up on the battery connector, and not the socket on the logic board. If you pry up on the logic board socket, you may break the connector entirely.
+[* icon_caution] Be careful not to insert the tool too deep, as there are many small transistors and other components surrounding the battery connector port. Accidentally knocking one of these components off will require microsoldering to fix.
