[* black] After taking off the monitor's screen from it's frame by using any spatula tool (check picture 1 provided as an example), this will leave the power cables exposed. Caution, do not pull the screen away to hard, this might snap the power cable.
[* black] Remove the power cable shown in picture 2 by carefully sliding it out of it's plug. Check if there is any tear in the cable especially around the ends area.
[* black] As shown in picture 3 the cable is off, inspect the power button itself and check its mechanism and if it is clicking through the board while being pressed. If that checks out then process to replace the button compartment. This will solve the issue.
