[* icon_note] There is adhesive holding the back plate in place. Be careful removing this as there is wiring on the other side.
-[* red] Using the sim card removal tool, pry off the back plate.
+[* red] Insert the SIM card removal tool or the point of a spudger into the tiny notch in the frame near the SIM card tray, and pry up.
+ [* icon_note] This will allow you to open a slight gap behind the back panel.
+[* black] Insert an opening pick or other plastic tool into the gap and slide it around the entire perimeter of the phone to release the adhesive and remove the back plate.
+ [* icon_note] If the adhesive is too tough, use an iOpener or hair dryer to heat the back of the phone and soften the adhesive, and try again.
