[* black] Capacitor time! This yellow component is called a capacitor. Its job is to store electrical charge, blocking direct current and allowing alternating current to pass. Capacitors are measured (in Farads) as the ratio of the electrical charge on each conductor to the potential difference between them. This capacitor is a 1 µF capacitor.
