[* black] Insert the Thick end of the string into the top of the bridge until about 3-4 inches of the string is sticking out of the bottom of the bridge. | |
[* black] Loop the short end of the string (now sticking out of the bottom of the bridge) around the back of the long end of the string from the left side. | |
[* black] With the short end of the string (from right to left), make 2 to 3 knots by passing the string under the loop. Make sure the final knot ends ***underneath the bridge***. | |
[* icon_caution] The thinnest strings ( the B and (low) E strings) will require at least three knots to be held in place. | |
