	[* black] With the screw removed, now separate the two pieces of the hood by lifting the top piece. Only lift the the top piece enough so that there is no tension applied to the ribbon cables shown.
	[* black] The white ribbon cable is attached only to one piece of the hood, so simply pull it through the non-attached end as shown.
	[* black] Have a second person lift the scanner as you lift the end of the hood attached to the scanner by a black ribbon cable. This cable can not be removed easily, do not try to remove it like you have with previous ribbon cables.
-	[* black] Set the piece of the hood down such that no stress is applied to the scanner it is attached to by ribbon cable.
