[* black] After removing the bottom plate, you will have visibility of the logic board. Using a spudger, lift the small black latch holding the ribbon cable. | |
- | [* black] Next, using pointed nose tweezers, remove the 4-wire white connector from the logic board. |
- | [* black] Record the order of the 6 wires soldiered to the board. Using a hot soldering iron and either a solder sucker or de-soldering wick, remove the solder from the 6 wires highlighted on the photo in red. |
- | [* black] Remove the remaining screws holding the motherboard in place. |
- | [* black] Place the wires into the solder holes in the correct order using the recorded pattern from the removal steps. |
- | [* black] Place the board into the sounddock and replace the two screws. Replace the White Connector. |
- | [* black] Slide the ribbon cable back into the slot and close the latch. and replace the bottom panel and four panel screws |
