-[* black] Desperate to know more than just what's on the cover we open this book up.
-[* black] We first notice two cables connecting the motherboard to the display.
- [* black] Fortunately for us, this book ''really'' is a book. With the cables on the side our engineer easily flips it open and disconnects the press-on connectors.
-[* black] As happy as we are about the cables, we're still scratching our heads about the [guide|51568|same strange brackets|stepid=112541] in the Surface Book display that we found in the Surface Pro 4.
-[* black] What's more disgruntling is the sight of the ribbon cable snaked under what appears to be the upside down motherboard.
-[* black] On the other hand, there is a cute little fan with matching foam.
+[* black] Never one to judge a Book by its cover, we're glad for a chance to peek under the, um, exterior.
+[* black] Right away, we notice two cables tethering the display to the motherboard. Fortunately, they're conveniently located along one edge—meaning we really ''can'' flip this thing open like a book—and we easily dispatch their press-on connectors.
+[* black] What's more disgruntling is where the cables lead: directly ''under'' the motherboard, which appears to lie upside-down.
+[* black] On the other hand, there is a cute little fan channel, which pairs with matching foam on the back of the display to direct the air just so.
[* black] The timing couldn't have been better - we're still a little heated about the motherboard situation and need to cool off.
