[* black] Lift the top casing up and away from the camera.
-[* red] I'm not sure what this is for, but make sure the black plastic bit (not a cable) goes into the white plastic bit, as shown on the picture.
+[* red] Make sure the black plastic cable goes into the white plastic connector, as shown on the picture. This is a fiber optic cable that the camera flash needs in order to function. The cable can simply be pushed into the connector.
