+[* black] The battery is located near the bottom of the device protected by a plastic type case. To release the battery from the case, there are 4 screws located on the case that need to be removed. The use of a small Philips screw driver is preferred for removing the case. After unscrewing the four screws, the case can now be removed from the motherboard.
