-[* blue] Open the inner battery cover by pressing the grey tab and lifting the black cover.
-[* red] Remove the two (3mm) screws next to the battery slots.
+[* blue] Simultaneously, push the gray tab and lift up the black battery cover.
+[* red] Using the Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws on either side of the battery slots and set them aside.
