[* black] To remove the LCD from the motherboard you must undo a grey clip that holds the LCD ribbon in place.
-[* black] First, pop one side of the clip with your fingernail. Then pop the other side by gently separating the clip from its holder.

[* black] Now you are ready to remove the LCD. The red end of the ribbon should slide out of the housing as you pull the LCD up and out and of the motherboard.
