-[* red] desolder the grounding plug from the motherboard
- [* black] Add solder to the tip of your soldering iron wipe it clean with damp sponge. The tip of your soldering iron should be clean of debris and excess solder, but is should still be “tinned”. Carefully touch the tip of your iron to the solder lug and allow the the solder to liquify. While liquified, you can lift the motherboard off the ground lug.
