[* red] Remove the four 8.1mm PH00 screws securing the motherboard to the black housing unit and set them aside. These can be easily removed using the 54 Bit Driver Kit.
-[* black] Simply use your hands to first pull up on the opposite end as the lens and then outward away from the lens.
- [* icon_caution] Watch out for the ribbon cable connecting the midframe and motherboard to the GoPro housing. See next step.
+[* black] Use the plastic opening tools to help pry the motherboard/midframe up from the main housing. Once you can get a hold of the edge, simply use you fingers to pull the internal components up and out!
