-[* icon_caution] Caution: There is a wire strip running through metal plate that is soldered to motherboard and power supply board, thus motherboard cannot be completely removed. Do NOT force upwards. With the Japanese Mega CD (though this may also be applicable to machines from other regions), all the ribbon cables can be safely unplugged by simply pulling them out of their slot.
