[* black] Use tweezers to peel the outer ring off of one of the adhesive strip pads.
[* black] Be sure to get both the double-sided adhesive and the brown backing paper.
-[* icon_note] The double-sided adhesive adheres to each side of a thin black gasket. One side covered by brown backing paper; the other side covered by thin blue film, which is hard to see against the black gasket, but can be gently lifted up with pointy tweezers. +[* icon_note] If you're having trouble navigating the double-sided adhesive, check out [link|https://youtu.be/s5-5pGfRgVc|this video|new_window=true].
[* icon_note] Be very careful not to fold, bend, or stretch the adhesive tape, as this will make it too thick to seal the screen without a ridge between the screen and the case.
