-[* black] Using a plastic opening tool, start at the end of the battery opposite the connecting wires to gently pry the battery off the backside of the touchscreen display.
-[* black] The battery is attached to the touchscreen with an adhesive, but should slowly come free.

+[* black] Once the edges are free, slowly work inward with the opening tool until the battery is free. This may take some time, since copious amounts of adhesive were used to anchor the battery in place.
