[* icon_note] Notice the little white rectangles surrounding the circuit board. These are the LEDs that detect the touches on the screen. When a finger touches the screen, it disrupts the LED. The Kindle then detects where the disruption was and sends it to the motherboard.
[* black] Use the T5 Torx screwdriver to undo the screws holding the circuit board to the bezel.
