[* black] Locate chainring, the gear connected to the pedals. | |
[* red] Place the spanner tool on the backside of the 6.5 mm chainring bolt. The spanner will be used to keep the bolts in place while unscrewing them on the opposite sides. | |
- | [* orange] With the spanner tool on one side of the chainring, use a 5 mm hex key to remove the chainring bolts on the opposite side. |
- | [* black] Repeat on the rest of the bolts. |
[* icon_note] On the chainring there will be one bolt facing the opposite direction, usually the bolt blocked by the pedal. Adjust for this by swapping use of the hex key and spanner tool. |
