[* black] Slide the rectangular plastic frame to the side. You'll find that a spring attaches it to the rest of the lens casing.
-[* black] Move the frame and the spring off to the side and out of the way. Tweezers help with this.
+[* black] You can disconnect the frame section from the spring. Do so, and set both so that they're out of the way.
