[title] Pry open the LCD screen
-[* black] Delicately pry open the LCD screen from the plastic frame. There are two yellow flex cables coming from the bottom edge, so it is best to pull the top edge loose first to avoid damaging the cables.
-[* black] There is a thin adhesive strip that holds the display to the frame. Be careful not to damage this because you will need to transfer it to the new screen.
-[* black] Gently unplug the two small flex cables from the bottom edge of the printed circuit board.
