+[* black] Keep your eyes focused on the distance, while moving the binocs away to arms-length. Or if you have something to fix the binocs to, move your head away straight back.
+[* black] The image you see should look like this. The binocs will be out of focus. The image in the centre should be sharp and clear. If the binocs are out of alignment, you won't be able to get the centre image to match up, it will look doubled.
