[title] Removing Plastic Covering for Wire Connections
-[* black] Using the spudger tool, very carefully work the plastic coverings loose from on top of the connection points of both the black and red wires leading from the plastic bottom plate to the rest of the phone base.
-[* icon_note] The plastic covering the points that connect the wires to the motherboard will appear to be small masses of plastic that have been melted onto the wire ends to protect the connections. These maybe saved to be re-melted onto the newly-soldered connections to protect them.
+[* black] Using the spudger tool, very carefully scrape the glue off of the connection points of both the black and red wires.
