-[* black] Lift up the black connector ribbon to see the black oval shaped piece of tape. Carefully peel off the tape that secures the SATA cable connector to the hard drive.
-[* black] The connector will now almost fall off. Simply pull it off. If it's not coming off, check the above step to ensure you've removed securing tape.
-[* black] Carefully peel off the two black sticky pads (one visible in picture) from the hard drive and stick them to your new hard drive in the same locations.
+[* black] Lift up the ribbon cable and carefully peel away the black tape underneath, which secures the SATA cable connector to the hard drive.
+[* black] Pull the SATA cable connector straight out of the hard drive.
+[* black] Carefully peel off the two black, square-shaped sticky pads (one visible in picture) from the corners of the hard drive, and stick them to your new hard drive in the same locations.
