[* icon_caution] If the home button ribbon cable sticks to the iPad's rear case, don't try to force it. Gently peel it off the case using a pair of tweezers, and then you can fully remove the front panel assembly.
+[* icon_caution] To avoid digitizer issues, be sure the two metallic pads of tape near the home button are transferred to the new display. If your iPad did not have metallic pads, and you are having digitizer issues, you can place a thin piece of tape over the metallic areas near the home button.
