[* black] Locate the internal audio adapter jack. It should be a small green printed circuit board (PCB) sitting above a curved mound of plastic. On the opposite side of this plastic mound is the Apple 30-pin legacy connector. | |
[* black] A strip of tape covers the wires that connect to the PCB. Peel this tape away. | |
- | [* black] Remove the 4 screws that hold the PCB in place. You will need a Phillips #1 driver to do this. You may need to move some wires out of the way to access one of these screws. |
