[* black] Once the plastic casing is completely off the back of the phone, and the logic board is visible, notice the gold strip connecting the logic board to the rest of the phone.
[* black] To disconnect the logic board from this gold strip, first you must use the precision tweezers to remove the piece of black rubber that is located on top of where the gold strip is connected to the logic board.
[* black] Then you must use the spudger to lift up the little latch that holds the gold strip onto the logic board.
[* black] This is the tricky part. Use the desoldering wick and soldering iron to remove the little piece of the gold strip that is attached to the logic board by placing the desoldering wick on top of the point where the the gold strip meets the logic board, and then place the soldering iron on top of the desoldering wick in order to absorb the solder from the connection.
