[* black] With the back removed, identify the battery. The battery is the large square cell in the middle of the phone.
-[* black] With the spudger, lightly remove the connector, circled in red, form the motherboard. Remove the flex cable attaching the connector to the battery as well.
-[* black] Circled in green, and shown in photo 3, remove the white adhesive type at the bottom of the battery.

[* black] Insert the spudger into the right side of the battery and slide it along the entire side to loosen the strong adhesive.
[* black] Insert the spudger in the bottom center part of the battery (pictured), and use the spudger to pry the battery from the adhesive sticking the other side of the battery to the phone.
