[* black] Next unscrew the fastener holding the actuator to the lock mechanism. This is extremely difficult to take a picture of because it is hidden behind the sheet metal inside the trunk.
-[* red] This connection point can be viewed through these two holes. Use the key in the trunk lock to move the mechanism until you can a Phillips head screw driver on to the screw through one of the holes. If you can, use a magnetic screw driver so as to not drop the screw as you remove it.
