+[* orange] The level should reach the small ledge at the back left of the reservoir.
+[* black] While the cover is off you can also check the condition of the fluid by piping a small amount in to a syringe or turkey baster (used only for automotive fluids - never use it in the kitchen again!) If the fluid looks dark, instead of a clean red, consider changing it and the filter.
